Yes, but thats more of a personal problem that is probably common to engineers across the globe.
I think the nature of the work is directly related to the quality of the employees be it in Software Quality or in Software development.
yes, agreed. With open source nobody should complain about bad work. Let me explain, you can always pick your favourite project, get permission to work on it (provided there is not conflict of interest with your organization).
